Color Hardener Stamped Concrete

Color hardener or redi-chrome agent is a cement product added to the top of the base concrete. This is a specialized upgrade of the integral color template stamped concrete. The base concrete is colored (with an integral color that closely matches the color in the hardener agent except for color hardners with grey tones) and reinforced with the fiber mesh like all our other products, but the color hardener adds an additional layer of protection and strength. There is also a third color broadcasted on top of the color hardener, called a release agent that allows for more color choices and prevents the pattern tool from sticking.

Color hardener produces attractive, vibrant concrete that is dense, abrasion-resistant, durable and easy to maintain. Color hardeners have weather resistant and lime proof agents to help protect the color. The stamp pattern is imprinted in the color hardener and therefore the based concrete remains untouched allowing for a stronger product. The color hardener also seals off the pores of the base colored concrete. This allows the sealer to stay on top of the product and means this product does not need to be resealed.

Soldier Course Tooled Integral Colored Concrete (Brick/Mortar Look)

This is a specialized integral colored stamp process. It gives you a brick and mortar look. There is only one pattern in different widths, but several colors to choose from. The mortar is the liquid color hardener used above. Color hardeners allow more color choices than release agents. We do seal this product when it is installed but the sealer wears off because it is porous concrete. After that it is recommended that you reseal this product every 12-18 months to help protect the color.

Integral Colored Template or Texture Stamped Concrete

This is the same product as the integral colored smooth finish concrete, but it has a pattern added on top. There are several patterns to choose from. A release agent is used when imprinting the pattern. The release agent allows for more color choices and prevents the pattern tool from sticking to the concrete. We do seal this product when it is installed but the sealer wears off because it is porous concrete After that it is recommended that you reseal this product every 12-18 months to help protect the color.

Integral Colored Smooth Finish Concrete

This is the next step up from our base product. It is the same fiber mesh reinforced concrete but a powder color is also added when the concrete is made. Due to the porous nature of the product the color will fade over time. You can liken this to a wood deck/porch that gets sun bleached and needs to be resealed. We do seal this product when it is installed but the sealer wears off because it is porous concrete. It is recommended to reseal this product every twelve to eighteen months. Some homeowners like the faded or washed look and choose not to reseal the product.

No Color Added Smooth Finish Concrete

This is our base product. It is reinforced with fiber mesh has a smooth trowel finish and expansion joints every three to four feet (all of our curbing products have expansion joints). There is no pattern or color in this product. This product is the same as the concrete on your sidewalk or drive way. It will be darker when it is wet and lighter when dry. It will take on some staining or discoloration because it is porous concrete. We can install this product in to different profiles the decorative profile (pictured on left) or the angle profile (all the above pictures). This product is sealed when we lay it, but due to the porous nature the sealer wears off.
